Just finished watching the first episode of "Find Me A Singaporean" hosted by Belinda Lee.

Used to dislike her cause the feeling she gives me is always very the 38. Hates the way she laughs too but after watching her host this show, my opinion of her has differed greatly.

The first episode was how she travelled all the way to India in search of a Singaporean named Ravi who has lived there for the past 8years.

Ravi was an engineer in Singapore but he gave up everything & with what little savings he had, he went to India & build orphanages for the homeless children there.

They filmed a scene where all the children were begging at railway stations. Most of them were even on drugs & they're as young as 12yrs old. My heart really goes out to them.

Thank goodness there's kind hearted souls like Ravi to give them a home & put them on their right track. Do you know there's around 18,000 homeless kids in India?

We living in Singapore are real lucky & wouldn't know or even understand what it's like in the 3rd world countries.

I'm hoping one day i can travel overseas to these areas to do my part too.
