When someone's feeling sick, would they hope their love ones show them more concern? The occasional sms to ask are they feeling any better or the phone call to perk them up?

Or will that sick person have to try contacting their love ones themselves? By first calling them and they not picking up the call, by sms-ing them but no replies and finally after a few hrs, the long awaited call came and said, "oh, i was watching movie in the living room."

I don't know what to say except being stunned.
